San Diego: The Fun Continues South of OC

Some 90 miles to the south of Anaheim is the town of San Diego. It is easily accessed by car, sightseeing coach or by Amtrak train. On the way to San Diego you'll pass the town of Carlsbad, which is the location of LEGOLAND® California, a fun-filled theme park 'made' of Legos. It is designed to promote imagination and discovery. At Legoland you’ll also find a waterpark and an aquarium. Near Legoland is also a shopping outlet and beautiful flower fields that bloom in the spring.

Further south is Del Mar, the home of the Del Mar Race Track, whose long time slogan has been ‘where the turf meets the surf.’

San Diego’s main attractions are SeaWorld San Diego in Mission Bay, the San Diego Zoo's Safari Park featuring an array of exotic animals and the world famous San Diego Zoo.

SeaWorld is home of Shamu features an assortment of animal shows, thrilling rides, and opportunities to touch and feed dolphins, and get up-close to beluga whales, polar bears, sharks, penguins, sea turtles and exotic birds from around the world. 

San Diego also has an active downtown filled with restaurants and the professional baseball field Petco Park.
