Six-year-old Anna Heim of Germany Visits Anaheim, California ANAHEIM, Calif. (August 30, 2006) – Anna Heim of Germany visited Anaheim, California during a family vacation this August. The six-year-old is delighted to experience Anaheim firsthand and show dubious friends at home that she shares her given name with a popular Southern California city that happens to be home to Disneyland® Park. Anna Heim and her parents, Sven and Katja Heim, completed a three-week tour of California with an eagerly anticipated stay in Anaheim. On the morning of August 29, the Anaheim/Orange County Visitor & Convention Bureau welcomed the traveling trio with souvenirs bearing the destination’s name. Anna Heim posed with a welcome sign from the Bureau before setting out for a visit to Disneyland, a highlight in the young traveler’s visit to Anaheim. The Heim family hails from Wechterswinkel, Germany, a rural Bavarian town with a population of 210. The Heim’s say that compared to home, everything seems much bigger in the United States and their visit to California has left a favorable impression of friendly people and clean, well-maintained destinations.
