Anaheim/Orange County Visitor & Convention Bureau anticipates increased interest in Orange County wedding venues due to ruling legalizing same-sex marriage in California
ANAHEIM, Calif. (September 4, 2008) – Wedding ceremonies held high atop a bluff overlooking the Pacific Ocean are a familiar sight in Orange County. Couples have tied the knot along the beach, in churches and synagogues, and have celebrated in unique venues throughout Orange County for decades. The decision by the State of California’s Supreme Court to legalize same-sex marriage has stirred even more interest in those desiring to wed in this picturesque destination.
“After searching all over, we instantly fell in love with Orange County and knew that it was the perfect spot for our East Coast guests to experience Southern California, especially with its breathtaking cliff views of the ocean and beautiful beaches, said bride Brooke Rodriguez of Boston, Mass. “The location of being between San Diego and Los Angeles was great giving many options of airports and fun trips outside of our wedding while also providing plenty to do locally.”
