British Beer Fest - Anaheim MUZEO

Event date:
November 12, 2011
Event description:

Enjoy British beers, ales, cuisine & live entertainment in MUZEO's courtyard! The 2011 British Beer Festival gathers brew enthusiasts at The MUZEO for samplings of authentic British bitters, ales, stouts, and cuisine supplied by The Olde Ship, a British-style pub in Santa Ana. Tour The Queen's Gallery exhibit's 60-plus paintings by Victorian-era artists, including Royal Academy of Arts members and James Sant, Queen Victoria's portrait painter and most formidable Scrabble opponent. At Steampunk: History Beyond Imagination, onlookers peruse artifacts from Victorian writers and later scientists, from H.G. Wells and Jules Verne to Nikola Tesla and Albert Einstein. In addition to film props, set pieces, and rare books, the exhibit showcases art, clothing, and steampunk sculptures from modern artists.

Revelers may purchase extra tasting tickets for an additional price, filling up with extra bites or splashing around brews to reveal which other attendees are actually delicate paintings in disguise. Net event proceeds go to benefit The MUZEO's Eniro program, which introduces at-risk public-school students to fine art.

BEER FEST EXPERIENCE FOR 1 includes fifteen (15) sample tickets, one (1) museum admission to The Queen's Gallery and Steampunk: History Beyond Imagination! plus a British Beer Fest event souvenir. Tickets can be used for beer samples (1 ticket per 4 oz beer sample), savory samples (2 tickets), dessert samples (2 tickets), or water (1 ticket).
