Anaheim/Orange County Tourism Ambassadors!
To date, the following companies have already participated in the program:
The CTA Program was created by Mickey Schaefer & Associates as a nationally recognized certification program for the Tourism Industry. The program teaches participants about the importance of tourism, facts about Anaheim/Orange County and how to use resources to enrich visitors' experiences. The City of Anaheim has supported the development of our destination specific program (Anaheim/Orange County Tourism Ambassadors) since it's inception several months ago. The program serves to increase tourism by turning every visitor encounter into a positive experience.
Classes will be offered to all community members involved in the Tourism industry (taxi drivers, hotel staff, attractions, police, fire etc.). There will be an initial registration fee for the four-hour training class. A $25 annual renewal fee will apply. CTA's will receive special offerings throughout the year in additon to invitations to attend special CTA Program networking events. The program is designed for everyone including frontline staff, management and executive staff!
