Looking for green beer and shamrocks topping your Guinness? Check out these pubs known for their St. Patty’s Day fun!

Gallagher’s and Killarney’s  – Downtown Huntington Beach is home to two Irish favorites. Both are known for their Irish bouncers and bartenders, who’ll tell you what the “Luck o' the Irish” used to mean.

Hennessey’s – Live music and an equally lively crowd make this a legendary tavern in OC and beyond. Check it out in either Downtown Laguna Beach or Dana Point.

Restaurant patios lining Main Street in Huntington BeachMuldoon’s – Just around the corner from Fashion Island, this bar is known for its festive atmosphere, flying darts and a tree that splits the place in half. You get two scenes in one!

Patsy’s – Slightly hidden, this South OC pub’s local crowd and corned beef tacos (yes, tacos) are worth the search.

Seal Beach’s Fantastic Four – Cab it to Main Street in Seal Beach for an Irish pub crawl. Hit Clancy’s, Hennessey’s, O’Malley’s and The Irisher, all within a city block.

Feeling like a pub, but not the crowds? Try one of these non-Irish locales in OC.

Alcatraz Brewing Co. – This working brewery creates hand-crafted beers and cask ales on site. Try the award-winning Weiss Guy Wheat or the Ghirardelli Dark (available seasonally).

J.T. Schmid’s Restaurant & Brewery – Live rock bands every weekend and widescreens on the wall are just two more reasons to visit Anaheim’s local brewery. The Anaheim Pale Ale is a popular brew, but Angels fans love the Screaming Rally Monkey martini.

The Olde Ship Pub – This British pub, located in both Fullerton and  Santa Ana, offers a great selection of European brews, single malts. and British menu favorites, from “bubble and squeak” to the ever-popular Fish and Chips.
