Honoring Anaheim/OC's Leaders

Anaheim/Orange County has always been an oasis of talent, innovation and generosity. In conjunction with the City of Anaheim's 150th Anniversary in 2007, Anaheim officials are working with the Motion Picture Hall of Fame Foundation to recognize this leadership along the new Anaheim/Orange County Walk of Stars.

Located on Harbor Blvd., the Anaheim/Orange County Walk of Stars honors visionary leaders and entrepreneurs, from celebrities and athletes to pioneers and humanitarians, who have made a positive national and international impact.

The first honoree on the Walk of Stars was Walt Disney, an innovator who helped solidify Anaheim/Orange County as an international destination for the world’s families.

Carl and Margaret Karcher, founders of CKE Restaurants and Carl’s Jr., received the second star in a ceremony that took place on Carl’s 90th birthday. Carl Karcher is known as both a successful businessman and generous humanitarian.

The third star was given to Henry and Susan Samueli, owners of the Anaheim Ducks and the Honda Center's management company. Known for their many philanthropic endeavors through the Samueli Foundation, The Samuelis are well-recognized leaders in the sports industry and OC business community.
