It's Good To Be Green

ARAMARK and the Anaheim Convention Center make green policies a colorful option for meetings and events.

Since 2004, ARAMARK and the Anaheim Convention Center (ACC) continue to adopt practices that conserve natural resources and create healthy food choices for consumers and meeting planners.

“Planning a menu for thousands of people and being environmentally friendly at the same time can be a challenge,” stated Jim Tripp, general manager, ARAMARK.

"It’s not always easy to be green. It takes everyone’s participation as well as ongoing education and corporate commitment.”

Tripp also noted, “We are very committed to organic product procurement and creating a culture where sustainable cuisine practices are embraced."

"We believe that providing high-quality dining experiences, as well as being good stewards of our planet, is something that gives our company and our customers great satisfaction.”

Greg Smith, executive director of the Anaheim Convention Center, stated, “We have the largest convention center on the West Coast and understand the importance of having a facility that is as environmentally friendly as possible.”
